You scored as football. You should play football - its the most popular high school and college sport, and creates a ton of school spirit.

What sport are you meant for??

Hmmm. This quiz is actually pretty accurate, for a change. It does match up with the sports I enjoyed at school. However, after reading questions like "How tall are you?" I almost expected it to say "I'm sorry... but you're not meant for sport at all".

I do agree that footy would be pretty fun to play (I at least enjoy watching it). However, I do want to keep my knees in one piece for at least the next forty years.

And and and...

My mate Glenn told me a really cool thing on the weekend, so I thought I'd blog about it.

Can you think of a sentence, that makes grammatical sense, and has five 'and's in a row?

There is one...

Think carefully...

No? Well, I can (or at least, Glenn did).

A man is painting a sign on a shop window. The shop owner walks out and says: (wait for it...)

"I think you need a bigger space between 'fish' and 'and', and 'and' and 'chips'".

Make things right

I don't think much of the show "McLeod's Daughters" for personal reasons. So in order to get the theme song out of my head, I've written some alternative lyrics to it.

It doesn't take much time
To tear apart
Your family home

Bitterness and strife
After a while
You find yourself alone

On your own
Woah... and you're alone

Every word that's said
Can build you up
Or tear you down

Now's the time to let
The past be past
Find common ground

Live as one
Woah... let's live as one

'Cause one day you'll need... family.

Why do people neglect the very relationships they need most?
Your family may one day be all you have.
So make things right, today.

A jolly good meal

Sorry I haven't been posting. I'm on holidays, but busier than ever (go figure...). Here's another photo.

My Jolibee Meal

Jolibee is a Filipino take-away store, somewhat like McDonald's. It's got a different flavour though, and offers way more desserts. I was on a diet this time (to avoid putting on 3 kilos like I do everytime I go to the Philippines... I think it has something to do with having bacon and eggs for breakfast every day), so I ordered Shanghai rolls with rice and juice. It was a great feed for around only P59, or $AU1.50. The best thing about Jolibee is that more often than not someone will offer to take your tray to your table for you.
